Jakarta, 10 August, 2026 – PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk (“the Company”) continues to strengthen its commitment to developing a highly skilled workforce for the polymer industry through the establishment of the Impack Polymer Science Institute (IPSI), a polymer training institute developed in strategic collaboration with SKZ – German Plastics Center (SKZ – Das Kunststoff Zentrum), one of Germany’s and the world’s most influential plastics institutes.

As part of IPSI’s development roadmap, the Company conducted an intensive Training of Trainers (ToT) program on July 27-31, 2026, during which IPSI instructors received five days of in-person training from SKZ experts. The program represents an important step in strengthening the foundation of IPSI’s training system and ensuring consistency in the delivery of its future learning programs. Prior to the in-person sessions, the ToT program commenced with 12 days of online training conducted on May 11-13, 2026, and June 2-12, 2026. Through the program, the trainers were equipped with advanced technical expertise, effective teaching methodologies, and international best practices, enabling them to prepare a highly competent workforce that meets the evolving needs of the polymer industry.

Haryanto Tjiptodihardjo, the President Director of the Company stated:
“The development of IPSI represents the Company’s long-term investment in improving the quality of Indonesia’s human capital. Through our collaboration with SKZ, we are committed to providing internationally standardized training to support the Government’s efforts to reduce unemployment while creating greater opportunites for improved livelihoods and income, particularly for communities in undeserved regions.”

To support the development of a skilled and future-ready workforce, IPSI will offer three specialized training programs designed to address the evolving needs of the plastics and polymer industry: Fundamentals of Polymer Science and Manufacturing, Operator Training Program: Production Operator, and Operator Training Program: Maintenance Operator. The programs are designed to provide participants with a structured pathway to build practical knowledge and industry-relevant skills, from understanding the fundamentals of polymer science and manufacturing process to developing the technical competencies required to operate and maintain advanced manufacturing equipment.

IPSI’s programs are open to a broad range of participants, including graduates of vocational high schools (SMK) and senior high schools (SMA), newly hired entry-level operators, and professionals seeking to deepen their knowledge of polymer manufacturing and/or maintenance. By providing accessible, industry-focused training for individuals at different stages of their careers, IPSI aims to help build a stronger talent pipeline for the plastics and polymer industry while creating greater opportunities for individuals to develop their skills and pursue sustainable careers in manufacturing.

Through an investment of approximately IDR250 billion in the development of IPSI, the Company is committed to establishing an internationally benchmarked polymer learning center that equips senior high school and vocational school graduates with practical, sustainable, and industry-relevant skills. Through hands-on training and industry aligned education, IPSI is expected to create pathways to better career opportunities and livelihoods while building a skilled, job-ready workforce to support the sustainable growth of Indonesia’s polymer industry.
