LaserTuff Installation

This page provides the basic information on the installation of LaserTuff. Please read and follow the installation’s instruction carefully before starting.

01 RIGHT INSTALLATION

To avoid wrong installation, please always install LaserTuff with “THIS SIDE UP” surface to the sun. For easy identification, this indication is printed near the edge side.

Caution : wrong side installation will void the warranty

02 PRE-DRILL THE HOLES

Use only rust proof fastener with domed weather shield. Pre-drill the holes at range of 3mm from the diameters of fastener to allow thermal expansion during noon time and contraction at night.

03 ANTI-LEAKAGE COUPLING SYSTEM

Overlay the top part of the anti-leakage coupling system on top of the underlap. For the length overlap, allow 200mm overlap for low pitch roof and 150mm for steeper one.

04 MINIMUM ROOF PITCH

Minimum 10^o roof pitch is required to ensure sufficient rain water run off.

05 OVERHANG DISTANCE

The maximum overhang distance is 100mm for LaserTuff.

06 PURLIN DISTANCE

Recommended purlin distance is max 1,200mm.
