Jakarta, January 24, 2025 – PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk. (“the Company”), a nontraditional building materials manufacturing company, announces its latest step in regional expansion. Previously, the Company has officially signed a distribution agreement with SCG Roofing Company Limited (“SCGR”), a leader in construction materials in ASEAN region, specializing in roofing production and roof accessories for over 80 years. SCGR is a subsidiary of The Siam Cement Public Company Limited, one of Thailand’s largest conglomerates. This commercial partnership aims to deploy the distribution of Alderon roofing within the country.
As a part of this commercial partnership, the first trial order will be shipped at the end of January 2025 after a joint market analysis and research process conducted by the Company and SCGR over the past months. This step demonstrates the Company’s commitment to delivering high-quality and environmentally sustainable products that fulfill consumer needs across the ASEAN region.
ASEAN is the Company’s primary market for establishing a strong foundation before expanding to other regions. The Company’s management believes that the partnership with SCGR will accelerate the achievement of this vision.
As a part of its regional expansion strategy, the Company successfully exported Alderon roofing to the Philippines last year and began producing its own Alderon RS roofing in Malaysia. The Company’s expansion plan for 2025 includes strengthening its presence in ASEAN countries, Australia, and New Zealand, with the aim of solidifying its position in the international market.
