PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk has been named as a finalist in the First Time category for the Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA) 2020. ASRA, hosted annually by CSR Works, is the most prestigious awards for Sustainability Reporting that involves a very thorough and competitive evaluation process with three rounds of judging.
Impack’s first Sustainability Report highlighted its four strategic focus areas including Economic Growth, Employees and Communities, Environmental Solution and Climate Change. This achievement also demonstrates the Company’s exceptional commitment to sustainability practices and ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) disclosures.
“Although we were just starting to publish our Sustainability Report in 2019, sustainability has always been at the heart of Impack for a long time. It was very challenging to produce our first Sustainability Report, but we are very proud to know that our hard work is going in the right direction. For the following year, Impack has also set various measurable targets to contribute to the UN SDGs and we hope we can always improve our ESG practices,” concluded Sugiarto Romeli, Director of Sustainability at Impack.
