On November 16, 2023, PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk (Impack), through its subsidiary, PT Sirkular Karya Indonesia, strengthens its commitment to sustainability by signing the Green Declaration. As one of the pioneers in providing innovative building materials, Impack has successfully introduced various products made from (post-consumer waste to consumers. Through the Green Declaration, Impack collaborated with PT Sasa Inti, as the producer of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), together with Gerakan PASTI (Plastik Akal Sehat untuk Indonesia) as the collaborator, and Greenprosa as an organic waste management organization.

Impack’s primary role in this collaboration is as an innovator managing single-use plastic waste, transforming it into durable and resilient building materials. Durable plastics offer various advantages over single-use plastics, such as improving resource efficiency and reducing plastic waste by minimizing the need for product replacements.

The signing ceremony was held on 16th November, 2023 and kicked off with a Talkshow, highlighting the roles of each stakeholder present and their contributions to collective efforts in addressing and managing plastic waste in society. The signing of the Green Declaration reflects a collaborative step in facing the challenges posed by plastic waste and underscores the importance of cross-industry collaboration.
