PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk (“Impack Pratama”) was selected among 50 companies included in the Mid Capitalization (Mid Cap) Public Listed Company 2022 category. This award was given by the Indonesian Institute for Corporate Directorship (IICD) in The 13th IICD Corporate Governance Award. 2022 at Grha CIMB Niaga, Jakarta on 27 May 2022. The award event was attended by Lenggana Linggawati as the Company’s Corporate Secretary. According to her, this award event is very good to motivate issuers to continue to be committed to implementing Good Corporate Governance (“GCG”) practices.

“Good Corporate Governance can indirectly encourage the use of company resources in an effective and efficient direction, which in turn will help create growth or national economic development,” she added. She also said that GCG can help companies and the national economy in terms of attracting investors at a lower cost through improving the confidence of investors and creditors both domestically and internationally.

Also attending the event were the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2009-2014 period, Boediono who gave closing remarks, the Chairman of IICD Sigit Pramono, and company representatives. This award is given to issuers that have implemented good corporate governance practices or GCG in the previous year and are not related to serious cases that are contrary to GCG principles.

There are two groups assessed, namely 100 issuers with the largest market capitalization (Big Cap) and 100 issuers with medium market capitalization (Mid Cap). As for the use of the assessment method based on the Asean CG Scorecard conducted by 10 qualified IICD assessors.
